What you are testing

This is a small, invitation-only test of the Reentry Partnership Community learning and onboarding experience. We want to learn whether a new member can understand the purpose of the community, complete one clear orientation, choose a complete role course, manage a basic profile, and tell us when something is unclear or broken.

Here is the whole path, start to finish:

Public registration is closed during this beta. The Reentry Partnership team creates each tester account. A new tester receives a secure set-password invitation by email and chooses their own password. The first name or nickname you choose and a neutral account handle in your profile link are visible to other signed-in testers; required technical last-name and nickname fields remain visible only to authorized Community staff. Changing the name shown in the Community does not change your username, sign-in, or profile link.

• Set-password invitation, sign in, and password recovery
• A versioned terms and privacy acknowledgment before course or member access
• A four-step profile walkthrough for an optional photo, brief bio, optional private ZIP code, service-area preference, optional member-shared contact information, and optional SMS updates
• One eight-lesson course: Reentry Partnership Volunteer Orientation
• One complete role course: Reentry Partnership Letter Writer Training
• A member profile and a directory limited to current invited testers
• A separate public Partner Directory that can contain only vetted, consented organization listings—not individual member profiles
• Report and Block controls for testing only on the designated Alpha Test Profile
• A Feedback button for page-specific notes

What is not open yet

This beta is not a reentry service program and is not testing support for an actual participant. Please do not enter participant names, case details, health information, legal information, release plans, or other private records.

• No volunteer application, screening, authorization, or role approval
• No matching with a person coming home
• No participant profiles, case records, or private support teams
• No promise of placement, services, personal replies, or response times
• No open community discussion program during this first testing round

You can review the draft Letter Writer Safety Action Card and Incident Report Form in Resources. They are samples for human review, not an active reporting route, and they do not collect information.

A useful testing path

1. Use the secure invitation to choose a password, then sign in.
2. Read and accept the current Beta Testers Guide, Privacy Notice, and Terms of Use.
3. Complete the guided profile setup. Confirm that individual profiles are never described as public. The bio is for signed-in members; ZIP code, service preference, account email, and SMS choice stay private. Contact email and mobile phone start private, and you may separately share either one with signed-in members. Sharing a phone number does not opt you into text updates.
4. Complete Reentry Partnership Volunteer Orientation. Its three sections move from why the community exists, to how we protect trust, to how useful support works.
5. Confirm that the Community Member badge appears after all eight orientation lessons.
6. Open the course library. If you want to get involved in letter writing, take Reentry Partnership Letter Writer Training. It covers the whole role in one course.
7. Review your profile and its visibility settings. If you share contact information, remember that another member may copy or save it.
8. From the member directory, try Report and Block only on the profile named Alpha Test Profile. It is a synthetic profile retained for this test, not a person. Do not report another tester.
9. Use the Feedback button anywhere something is confusing, awkward, inaccessible, or broken.

You may stop and return later. Your course progress is saved.

Feedback and privacy

Use Feedback for comments about the page you are viewing. It is not monitored as an emergency or case-support channel. Do not include private case, health, legal, or participant information. If the Feedback button itself does not work, email team@embracedfully.org.

You may stop testing at any time. To request that your test account and associated test data be removed, email team@embracedfully.org. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for more information.
